I’m here to provide support for individuals & families navigating any and every outcome of pregnancy & feeding. I also offer doula & lactation support for a full spectrum of human beings. In my work with families, I rely heavily on my background in Human Development and its foundations in psychology, sociology, biology & anthropology. My ultimate goal is always for families to find a way of being and growing that feels right to them.

Preparing for the addition of new little one can be an absolute roller coaster of ups, downs, and loop-di-loops. From all of the little questions that plague brains in the middle of the night (i.e. ‘is this labor?’ and ‘what do you mean babies don’t come with instructions?’) to all the big feelings (‘what do you mean feeding a new human can be 40+ hrs a week?’ to ‘Can I really do this?’), the goal is for you to always feel supported, informed, and secure that you have someone in your corner.

“Jen helped us really think through what our birth preferences were and what was important to us as well as provided great education“
I can not recommend Jen enough! She was such an amazing part of our birth team. From the first time we met Jen, she made us feel comfortable and at ease. I knew that she would be a strong advocate for me and my wishes. I wanted to have an unmedicated birth and there is no way I would have achieved that without her support. (Note, Jen is super supportive of whatever your birth preferences are!) Also, I LOVED that her package included pre and post visits. She helped us really think through what our birth preferences were and what was important to us as well as provided great education about breastfeeding and even offered spinning babies exercises. Her postpartum visits were a lifesaver when we were struggling with breastfeeding. Our little one had some struggles to gain weight at the beginning and Jen came over several times to help with breastfeeding and offer support and even brought us a scale to borrow to do pre/post feeding weights. Because of how much our entire family loved Jen, I recommend a doula to everyone I know!

“Mariah’s support really reduced my anxiety and made me relaxed and confident to welcome my baby’s arrival.”
I can’t imagine my birth journey without Mariah. As first-time parents, we were excited but nervous about the whole pregnancy and labor journey. Mariah frequently checked in with us during pregnancy and provided helpful resources for us to get prepared for the upcoming event. Mariah responded to us immediately when my labor started at midnight. She provided very thorough care during labor and even the nurse appreciated her assistance! Mariah’s support really reduced my anxiety and made me relaxed and confident to welcome my baby’s arrival. My husband, who was more nervous than me, also felt empowered (and relieved) from Mariah’s support —he even snored in the labor room lol. Mariah also had a few postpartum follow-ups with us and provided a lot of useful information for newborn care – which is extremely important for new parents who were panicking with a crying baby…If we have a second child in the future, we will definitely hire Mariah again and we highly recommend her to all expecting families.

“Katie’s calm, friendly, good-humored demeanor ushered me through one of the biggest and scariest moments of my life”
Being pregnant during a global pandemic was a surreal and scary thing, but Katie was a godsend. As my due date got closer and my anxieties higher (would the hospital let my partner come? would they be short-staffed because of COVID? were there higher risks of infection?), she helped keep me as calm as possible and was always there for me to answer questions and reassure me. She helped me know what was normal and to be expected so that I didn’t have to freak out and call the already over-busy doctor’s office, and once it was time she was thankfully able to be at the birth with me and my partner. Since we couldn’t have visitors (and since everyone was masked to the nines) it was nice to have a friendly face and voice I knew to see me through. After we were discharged from the hospital, there were some concerns about the baby and about myself and Katie helped me (remotely and safely, of course) monitor the situation. She was even up with me in the middle of the night that first night, so I could send her videos and she could assure me that the baby was doing fine. Katie’s calm, friendly, good-humored demeanor ushered me through one of the biggest and scariest moments of my life and I will be eternally grateful. She has my absolute highest recommendation!
